(EN) Even if I like to consider that music exists to celebrate life, it can also pay a tribute to it : thus, I would like to present you a tune featuring Camille Anssel (voice, ukulele) and Jiro Yoshioka (cello), which salutes all the beings who said "goodbye" too soon.
Being aware of the heaviness of a subject that is taboo among us, this track invites us to reflect on the isolation and the strong sorrow that someone can feel, to the point of not seeing the beauty of life anymore.
It is always possible to be attentive and to listen to those around us : communication is fundamental between all of us who are sensitive. So let's not forget that empathy and compassion are values, not weaknesses.
Beautiful day to you ! <3
lyrics
Hidden in the dark, faces wearing marks, they were monsters
Tumbling in the rain, before I got insane, yet they love her
Marching in the cold, and slow because they’re old, they were monsters Growing in the pain, before I got insane, yet they love here
And they’ll be crawling in the back of my mind for a while I’m not sure what to do when I’m falling inside
Baby you’ll be waitng no more
Feeding on my tears, and burning all my fears, they were monsters Growing in my brain, where everything is vain, yet they love her
I been listening to them, I cut myself again, they were monsters But not amount of blood, running to the mud, would revive her
Buried in my drinks, and everywhere I think, they were monsters Now they are so strong, they wanna do me wrong, yet they love her They got me to the lake « don’t you see it’s fake », a disaster
Made me close my eyes, that’s how a man dies, now or never
Dark thoughts in my head, and calling I’m afraid, they were monsters Took me for a ride, that ended in suicide, yet they love her
Helping in a way, but fnally you’ll say, they were monsters
But when you’re not with me, they keep me company, yes they love her
